Opening Files And Streams

Open media from File > Open File or File > Open Stream.

Supported stream URI schemes are:

• file
• udp
• rtsp
• http
• https
• srt
• pcap,pcapng

Local paths are accepted when they point to a readable file. Directories are rejected. For live streams, confirm protocol-specific settings in the stream dialog before starting playback.
