Tags
Tags are reusable labels shared by bookmarks and missions. Each tag has a name and an optional color. Use tags to group related observations, review states, operators, or mission material without duplicating the label on every record.
Open the tag catalog from View > Tags.
Managing tags
The Tags window lists each saved tag with its name, color value, preview, and row actions.

| Add tag | Creates a tag with a name and optional color. |
| Edit tag | Changes the shared tag's name or color. Double-clicking a row also opens the editor. |
| Delete tag | Deletes the tag after confirmation and removes its assignments from bookmarks and missions. The bookmark and mission records remain. |
| Refresh | Reloads tag data from the local application database. |
The editor accepts a custom color in #RRGGBB form, provides common color
swatches, and shows a preview. Select Default to save the tag without a
custom color.
Using tags
Tags can be assigned while creating or editing a bookmark or mission. Changing a tag in the Tags window changes the shared label wherever that tag is used. Deleting a bookmark or mission does not automatically delete its tags, because other records may still use them.
Tags are stored only in STView's local application database. They are removed by Settings > Options > Application > Reset DB. See Bookmarks, Missions, and Settings for the related workflows.
