To access detailed information about the current stream, users can retrieve essential data by pressing the Stream Info button. The recaster initiates stream detection both at startup and following each stream timeout, ensuring that users receive the most up-to-date and accurate information. The detection is done for both the container and the elementary stream, providing details such as video and audio specifications, as well as KLV / private data.

This (optional) feature enhances the user experience by providing real-time insights into the streaming process, enabling users to stay informed about the status and characteristics of the ongoing stream.
