When working with file sources, you can enable or disable a video preview, effectively making it real time or faster than real time.

- Select a Session Config and set a file source related parameters:

- Only MPEG TS format is currently supported. If your file has a different format, you'll be prompted to transcode/remultiplex it. For more info on file transcoding please see Video Transcoding. section.
- Configure Data source related parameters:

- Configure Preprocessing parameters:
You can add a template file to add/merge or remove specific entries.

- Configure File Target parameters: You can select segmented (by size/time) recording if needed.

- Close Session Config window and start recording session.
