KLV Injector  Version 4.1.0
Video Transcoding.

You can use various video file formats for Klv injection. If your file is not in the MPEG TS format, it should be remultiplexed or transcoded.

Figure 1. shows the Transcoder Tool. In order to use the transcoder, you must first setup an external transcoder executable - FFMpeg (Options->Tools). For more info on FFMpeg, please see FFMpeg web site.

Note
You can download the Windows binaries from Zeranoe web site. After installing the \FFMpeg, just point Transcoder Path to the ffmpeg.exe location.

There are 2 working modes:

  • Remultiplexing.
  • Transcoding.

When Remux mode is selected, no video transcoding is done, the Transcoder Tool just creates the TS file with video passed through. Video processing parameters are ignored. If you select Transcoding mode, some major video parameters, like resolution, bitrate, etc may be configured. For example, you can transcode High Resolution video into low resolution, low bitrate copy.
