✔️ Checksum
Some MISB ST 0601 packets include checksum data to detect corruption within the packet payload. A mismatched checksum indicates the metadata content may have been altered or damaged.

What This Test Does
The Checksum test validates checksum fields when they are present in MISB ST 0601 packets.
✅ Pass Criteria
The test passes when each present checksum matches the packet content it protects.
❌ Fail Criteria
The test fails when a checksum field is present but does not match the corresponding packet content.
Example
A checksum failure appears as a plotted point at the byte offset where the invalid KLV packet was found. The chart lets you see whether checksum errors are isolated or repeated across the file, and the hover details identify the affected PID, approximate time, packet index, byte offset, and the checksum mismatch reported by the decoder.
